At Back2Work we pride ourselves working to help give people the opportunity to find employment. Our trainers and assessors are always enthusiastic and treat every learner individually. We always go above and beyond to do more than just the required. It is great to be thanked and recognised for the work we put in from the learners themselves, and every now and again we receive a lovely testimonial or email. Here are a few we would like to share.
Jasmine Prince attended one of our PET courses for the customer service sector. Our business development manager Sam Freaks received this appreciative email from her, saying:
“I loved it, really enjoyed the course. It showed me skills that I hadn’t already picked up. I’m so glad I started the course with yourselves. I would 100% recommend. I got the job through Back2Work with Capita at Yodel for the Christmas temps. I finished that on the 28th December and after the new year I attended an interview at Redstar. I received a phone call this morning offering me the position as a payment administrator. Thank you so much Sam for giving me the opportunity to complete my NVQ. I couldn’t have done this without you and your team. I met so many nice people, learned new skills and gained a loads of confidence”.
Jean Davison was referred to us at the jobs fair in Hattersley and started with Back2Work in September. Susie Grimes, course manager, rang her back the day after she had put Jeans name down. Jean went on to complete the 2 week course and started working at Convergys on the Monday after.
“The course was great, I couldn’t fault it! Susie was brilliant, a really fantastic tutor. I emailed Susie to let her know that I got the job. I’ve never really had to work before because I’ve always been a house wife, so this is my first employment! The course really helped me transition from that way of life into the working world. I achieved many of things from the course; I Gained confidence and employability skills and I also acquired my NVQ’s! I attended my guaranteed interview at end of September, then moved on to do my role playing exercise with Convergys on the 13th October. I completed the role playing and then went onto the competence test. I passed both with flying colours thanks to the training!”
“The transition into work didn’t bother me as I had done a lot of voluntary work, but with the knowledge form Susie, such as interview questions, I was very prepared. It went smoothly and fluently, as I thought it would. I would definitely recommend the course, it was very helpful and the guaranteed interview is a great bonus. It’s hard work but very rewarding, great commission and plenty of chance to earn.”
“Really glad I did this and happy to be where I am today!!”
