Our Contact Centre pre-employment training course is designed to help learners develop the skills required for working in a customer service role within a Contact Centre.

On completion of the course, each learner gains an industry-accredited Level 1 Award in Contact Centre Operations to add to their CV and boost their overall employability.

Learners will also access further support provided by our progressions team, to help them move into full-time employment on completion of their training.

One learner who recently completed the course and successfully gained employment is Brendan from Greater Manchester, who provided us with some feedback and insights about his experience.

Brendan's experience

Brendan told us how his experience on the course was boosted by the guidance of his Tutor, who he says was supportive to throughout the duration of his training.

The Tutor supported everyone throughout, there wasn't a day where the tutor did not support me or others. It felt like they actually loved supporting people and helping them through any trouble they may be having.

The course was also easy to follow and understand, and the Tutors are excellent with people in general, they treat everyone the same and help is always available either one-to-one or in a group.

Improved confidence & New job secured

Not only did Brendan successfully complete the course, gaining an industry accredited qualification to add to his CV, but he also managed to secure a new role working in the contact centre industry shortly afterwards with the help and support of our Progressions team.

I now feel more confident as the Tutors allowed everyone to speak and ask questions. The way the courses are set out and taught makes you feel like you can do it more easily and this builds your confidence.

I feel more confident speaking to others too, and felt more prepared for interviews than if I hadn't completed this course.

I now have a new position that involves diagnosing and helping to suggest repairs for smart devices. It is a more technical and hands-on role, so more ideal for my experience.
