CONSTRUCTION
LEVEL 1 CERTIFICATE INTRODUCTION TO CONSTRUCTION - 5 DAYS
COURSE OVERVIEW
This course meets all requirements for you to become a construction worker in the West Mids Combined Authority. Upon course completion of the qualification, we will pay for your CSCS test.
Once passed, we will pay for your 5 year Green Card. We will also help you find work in the local area, with our progression team.
The course consists of the following qualifications and benefits:
- ETA Level 1 Certificate of Introduction to Construction
- ETA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction Environment
- GW Level 1 Award in Cybersecurity
Full guidance and support is available throughout the 5-day programme. Your work will be assessed through portfolio based evidence.
How the course works:
- Induction with tutor over the telephone
- Contact with tutor throughout the course via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams (video chat)
- Online delivery Microsoft Teams sessions are held twice a day between 10am-4pm, with the tutor, whom delivers key elements of the unit
- Learners work to complete the work with their tutor on hand for support
- Tutor will mark submitted work and provide feedback to the learner on a daily basis
ELIGIBILITY
- Age 19+
- Unemployed
- Good standard of Maths and English
- Good communication skills
- Committed and willing to learn
- Eligible to work within the UK
FUNDING
This course is fully funded through the Pre-Employment Training scheme.
The course is available for anyone who reaches the eligibility requirements.
Back2Work Complete Training provide Pre-Employment Training throughout the UK.
Pre-Employment Training works great as both a recruitment service for employers and an employment service for those who are unemployed.
