Our Contact Centre pre-employment training course is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of what to expect when working in the contact centre industry, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Each learner receives key accredited qualifications upon completion of the course, with further support provided by our progressions team to help them move into full-time employment.

One learner who recently completed the course is Ana from Northampton.

Ana's story

After graduating from University, Ana had endured a prolonged period of unemployment and was struggling to land a full time role. She enrolled on our Contact Centre pre-employment training course for this reason, and to gain some accredited qualifications in the process.

We asked Ana about her overall experience with us and she was full of praise for the support she received throughout her time on the course.

"I received great support both verbal and professional, and the feedback I got helped me to progress in an easier and quicker way than if I tried to do it on my own."

Enjoyable experience and improved confidence

Ana also told us about just some of the new skills she acquired while on the course, and how her confidence has improved as a result of the units she completed.

"I enjoyed learning about cyber security, team leading and (working in a) Contact Centre, as they gave me more confidence, and the idea of SMART goals and planning techniques I haven't used before.

"I also feel more confident as I have learned more about the systems and how to handle calls effectively."

New role secured

Not only did Ana gain some key accredited qualifications to add to her CV, but she also landed a new job in customer services. She reflected on the techniques she learnt throughout her time on the course, and how these have helped play an important part in her new role.

"I am now working as a Customer Service Advisor, and my job involves replying to emails and calls, plus confirming delivery dates for customers around the UK.

"Everything seems more clear when I use the techniques I learnt on the course and focus on providing great customer service to everyone.

"I feel like I have enough tips and techniques to make sure the customers are happy. The most important are listening techniques and being as specific as possible to avoid any confusion."

Congratulations again Ana, and the very best of luck in your new role!
