"I feel much more prepared and confident" - Momna's Story

Our pre-employment training course in Contact Centre Operations is designed to introduce the basic principles of working as a contact centre agent, with additional qualifications in team leading and cybersecurity also available for our learners.

Each learner receives accredited Level 1 Awards upon completion of the course, with further support provided by our progressions team to help them move into full-time employment.

One learner who recently completed the course is Momna from Accrington.

Momna's story

Momna enrolled on our Contact Centre training course to develop her understanding of working in this industry, and gain accredited, relevant qualifications to boost her overall employability.

Having undergone a significant period of unemployment, she found that she didn’t possess the confidence in herself when it came to the interview process and was lacking relevant qualifications in order to move forward in her career.

She told us how the support she received from her tutors was greatly appreciated, and helped to boost her overall confidence.

I enjoyed how this course was so engaging and although it covered quite a bit of material, it felt like a breeze.

My tutors, Adele and Tina, supported me a lot during the course. They helped me gain a better understanding of contact centres, and cybersecurity.

Adele was really good at engaging the whole class and delivering the material. Tina really helped me with her constructive criticism, and provided feedback which helped me to get better.

New skills gained

Momna also told us how the course led to her gaining new and relevant skills to work within a contact centre, and how she now feels more prepared for working in this environment.

This course has equipped me with all the industry standard and relevant knowledge I need, and I now feel confident in working as a contact centre agent.

Because of the skills and knowledge gained through this course, I feel more prepared to tackle with workplace environment and the issues which might arise in my role.

Employment secured

Not only did Momna successfully complete the course and gain three accredited Level 1 Awards to add to her CV, but she also gained a new role working within this industry after completing her training.

I feel much more prepared and confident to go into work, and I got a job offer shortly after the course working in contact centre support.
