Learner Feedback | Daniel Brookes - Back2Work Complete Training

Our Digital Contact Centre courses provide our learners with all the knowledge, understanding, support and confidence they need to secure employment in the Contact Centre industry.

One learner who recently completed the 10-day course is Daniel Brookes from West Yorkshire.

Daniel's Story

After previously gaining a Level 3 NVQ in Health & Social Care, Daniel struggled to find a suitable role and was unemployed for 18 months.

He decided to enrol on our Digital Contact Centre course to learn new skills and pursue a new career.

"The course made me feel more positive and motivated to get back to work after being unemployed for 18 months."

Tearing Down Barriers

Daniel also has previous experiences of barriers being presented to finding employment due to living with a tracheostomy tube.

However, he said he now feels an increased amount of confidence in himself, his skills and his abilities after completing the course.

"I thought having a tracheostomy was a barrier to finding work, but this course made me realise I can do anything I want as long as I work hard for it, regardless of what disability I may or may not have.

"I now feel more confident and happier in my life, as it's pushed me to achieve further goals and pursue more qualifications.

"I'm very grateful for the opportunities have been given to me."

He also passed on his gratitude to his tutor for their support during his time on the course.

"The tutor was amazing and so was the assessor. I'd describe them as friendly but also firm, being firm is good as it makes you want to complete the course on time and gain that qualification."

Securing Employment & Further Learning

Daniel revealed that he’s pursuing further qualifications in this area, but has since found employment working for a well-established national retailer.

"I gained employment around a month after I completed the course, working at the main distribution centre."
