"I have learnt a lot more than I thought I would" - Majlinda's Story

Our pre-employment Customer Service training course provides our learners with all the knowledge and understanding they need to secure employment in this industry.

The course covers the fundamentals of customer service roles, including the principles of customer service, how to meet customers’ expectations, the importance of appropriate behaviour and communication techniques, as well as ways to deal with problem customers.

One learner who recently completed the course is Majlinda Berisha from Grays in Greater London.

Majlinda's Story

After a spell of unemployment, Majlinda was looking at ways in which she could return to full-time employment while learning new skills – focusing on customer service and working with others. She enrolled on our Customer Service training course for this reason, and revealed that she thoroughly enjoyed the course in more ways than one.

"I really enjoyed the course and meeting other people around the country who were also on the course. I also enjoyed learning about a new topic that I only had a very basic knowledge about."

Majlinda also praised the support of her tutor, who she says was patient and constructive throughout the course.

"The tutor was very supportive by making sure everyone on the course got involved in discussions.

"They were also very calm and patient with us, elaborated on anything that needed explaining further, and gave constructive feedback in tasks done during learning and after assessments were submitted."

Increased Confidence In Securing Employment

Since completing the course, Majlinda has gained multiple qualifications to add to her CV – boosting her overall employability and her confidence in securing a new role. She is well underway in the application and interview process and believes her new skills will help her secure the job she desires.

"I feel more confident as I have learnt a lot more than what I thought I would, especially in many areas that I did not have much knowledge in, such as cybersecurity.

"I know more about the job I want to apply for and I now have the skills needed to be successful.

"I feel like I can implement all of the skills and knowledge I have gained in this course in my next job and hopefully excel in future jobs."
