CONSTRUCTION

This course meets all requirements for you to become a construction worker in the West Mids Combined Authority. Upon course completion of the qualification, we will pay for your CSCS test.

Once passed, we will pay for your 5 year Green Card. We will also help you find work in the local area, with our progression team.

The course consists of the following qualifications and benefits:

• ETA Level 1 Certificate of Introduction to Construction
• ETA Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a construction Environment
• GW Level 1 Award in Cybersecurity

Full guidance and support is available throughout the 5-day programme. Your work will be assessed through portfolio based evidence. 

How the course works:

• Induction with tutor over the telephone
• Contact with tutor throughout the course via telephone, email and Microsoft Teams (video chat)
• Online delivery Microsoft Teams sessions are held twice a day between 10am-4pm, with the tutor, whom delivers key elements of the unit
• Learners work to complete the work with their tutor on hand for support
• Tutor will mark submitted work and provide feedback to the learner on a daily basis
