We offer a range of training courses in the North East area to help you get back to work within key industry sectors including Construction, Warehousing, Customer Service and Stevedoring.

On completion of your training, you’ll receive industry recognised qualifications and support to ensure that you progress into full-time employment opportunities within Newcastle and the North East, or further training to support your career goals.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING COURSES IN NORTH EAST

ELIGIBILITY

  • Age 19+
  • Unemployed
  • Good standard of Maths and English
  • Good communication skills
  • Committed and willing to learn
  • Eligible to work within the UK 

FUNDING

All of our Pre-Employment training courses in the North East are fully funded providing you meet our eligibility criteria.

OUR TRAINING COURSES AVAILABLE IN THE NORTH EAST

Sector specific courses, with further support on completion to access employment opportunities.

CUSTOMER SERVICE & CONTACT CENTRE COURSES

14 day course with two qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service, and a Level 1 Award in Digital Contact Centre.

13 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 1 Award in Digital Contact Centre Operations, a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills, and a Level 1 Award in Cyber Security.

16 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 1 Certificate in Digital Contact Centre Operations, a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills, and a Level 1 Award in Cyber Security.

15 day course with two qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 2 Certificate in Hospitality & Catering, and a Level 2 Certificate in Customer Service.

12 day course with three qualifications available for all learners – a Level 2 Certificate in Lean Management Techniques, a Level 1 Award in Retail Knowledge, and a Level 1 Award in Cyber Security.

CONSTRUCTION & WAREHOUSING COURSES

10 day course with a Level 1 Introduction to Construction Certificate on completion for all learners.

12 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 1 Introduction to Construction Certificate, and a Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment, as well as a Level 2 Award in Understanding Domestic Retro Fit.

11 day course with a Level 1 Certificate in Supply Chain & Logistics on completion for all learners.

HEALTH & SOCIAL CARE COURSES

14 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Specific Learning Difficulties, a Level 2 Award in Customer Service in Health & Social Care, and a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills.

14 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Children & Young People’s Mental Health, a Level 2 Award in Customer Service in Health & Social Care, and a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills.

DIGITAL COURSES IN THE NORTH EAST

Short digital and technical online courses designed to help you grow and improve your CV.

Take your first steps in all things digital and tech with this fully funded Digital Technologies course. This 26 day course will provide you with industry-standard and valuable digital, design and development skills, as well as a Level 2 Diploma in Digital Technologies.

Take your first steps in all things digital with this fully funded Digital & IT Skills course. This 26 day course will provide you with industry-standard and valuable digital skills, as well as a Level 2 Diploma in Digital & IT Skills.

Take your first steps in all things creative and digital with this fully funded Creative Skills course. This 21 day course will provide you with industry-standard and valuable digital and design skills, as well as a Level 1 Diploma in Skills for the Creative Industries.

This bundle of qualifications will provide you with the kickstart you need to get your digital career up and running. On completion of the 14 day course, you’ll receive a Level 2 Certificate in Digital Technologies, as well as a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills, and a Level 2 Award in Website Design & Development.

This bundle of qualifications will provide you with the kickstart you need to get your digital and design career up and running. On completion of the 15 day course, you’ll receive a Level 1 Certificate in Skills for the Creative Industries, as well as a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills, and a Level 2 Award in Website Design & Development.

This 15 day course will provide you with three key qualifications on completion – a Level 2 Certificate in Digital Marketing, a Level 2 Award in Digital & IT Skills, and a Level 2 Award in Website Design & Development.
