Our Contact Centre pre-employment training course is designed to provide learners with a comprehensive understanding of what to expect when working in the contact centre industry, with a strong emphasis on customer service.

Each learner receives key accredited qualifications upon completion of the course, with further support provided by our progressions team to help them move into full-time employment.

One learner who recently completed the course is Tim Bradshaw from Liverpool.

Tim's experience

After a spell of unemployment, Tim was very keen to get back to work and secure a new full time role. He enrolled on our Contact Centre pre-employment training course for this reason, and to gain some accredited qualifications in the process.

We asked Tim about his overall experience with us and he was full of praise for the environment created by his tutors.

"The tutors gave us every opportunity to ask questions and had no problem repeating something or reviewing a subject more deeply if there was any confusion.

"The supportive and friendly atmosphere that was engineered by our tutors set the tone for the whole course, and was mirrored by the whole class throughout the duration of the course. At the end, I felt as though I was saying goodbye to friends."

Successful job interview

Tim also told us about just some of the new skills he acquired while on the course, and mentioned that he applied some of the things he learned during his interview with his new employer.

"I was able to use the knowledge I gained during my interview while it was still fresh in my mind, and it gave me great confidence.

"I was also able to raise a few pleasant eyebrows due to quoting some of the "British Values" we learned about, and made reference to the principles of team work that I learned from the course."

New role and plans for progression

Not only did Tim gain some key accredited qualifications to add to his CV, but he also landed a new job after a successful interview process. He told us how he now plans on progressing in his career and eventually moving into team leadership.

"My new role is working as a Debt Advisor, specialising in getting people back to financial health.

"I have been training for three days so far and I have been using the knowledge I gained from the course every day.

"I also plan on using the team leadership principles I learned about to show that I am ready for progression as soon as it can be achieved in my new role."

Congratulations again Tim, and good luck in your new role!
