Our fully funded pre-employment training courses for Newcastle and the North of Tyne area.

We offer a range of training courses in the North of Tyne area to help you get back to work within key industry sectors including Construction, Warehousing, Customer Service and Stevedoring.

On completion of your training, you’ll receive industry recognised qualifications and support to ensure that you progress into full-time employment opportunities within Newcastle and the North of Tyne, or further training to support your career goals.

PRE-EMPLOYMENT TRAINING COURSES IN NORTH OF TYNE

ELIGIBILITY

  • Age 19+
  • Unemployed
  • Good standard of Maths and English
  • Good communication skills
  • Committed and willing to learn
  • Eligible to work within the UK 

FUNDING

All of our Pre-Employment training courses in the North of Tyne are fully funded providing you meet our eligibility criteria.

OUR TRAINING COURSES AVAILABLE IN NORTH OF TYNE

Sector specific courses, with further support on completion to access employment opportunities.

10 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners, including a Level 1 Certificate in Basic Construction & Building Skills, Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment and a Level 2 Award in Understanding Retrofit.

10 day course with two qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 1 Award in Digital Contact Centre Operations and a Level 1 Award in Cyber Security.

20 day course with three qualifications on completion for all learners, including a Level 1 Award in Essential Digital Skills, a Level 1 Award in Cybersecurity and a Level 2 Certificate in Digital & IT Skills.

10 day course with two qualifications on completion for all learners – a Level 1 Award in Express Logistics and a Level 1 Award in Carbon Awareness.

10 day course with a Level 2 Certificate in Catering & Hospitality for all learners on completion.

10 or 14 day course with a Level 1 certificate in Stevedoring on completion for all learners.

DIGITAL COURSES IN NORTH OF TYNE

Short digital and technical online courses designed to help you grow and improve your CV.

Take your first steps in all things digital and tech with this fully funded Digital Technologies course. As part of our Digital Bytesize course, this pathway will provide you with industry-standard and valuable digital, design and development skills.

Kickstart a creative career with our fully funded Creative Skills course. As part of our Digital Bytesize course, the Creative Skills pathway will provide you with an introduction to the digital sector, with a particular focus on website creation and games development.

As part of our Digital Bytesize course, this pathway is designed for those who are seeking a future career in Digital and IT Technical Support, Cyber Security and Software Development.
