Job interviews can be nerve-racking experiences. At Back2Work Complete Training, we’ve provided thousands of individuals with the qualifications and support needed to secure a role in Supply Chain and Logistics, making us well-placed to share our advice and expertise in how to excel in a warehouse interview.

Part of Back2Work Complete Training’s Pre-Employment Training process is to help you prepare for your guaranteed interview on completion of our course. So we’re breaking down some of the essential tips to help you through your warehouse operative interview.

Learn about the role & company

Before we enrol you on our PET courses, we’ll talk you through the available job roles and tell you what’s expected. You’ll learn about the company and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable with the shifts and location.

On top of the information we can provide, when it comes to your interview, we’d recommend researching the warehouse industry and the company you’ll be working for. A good tip is to research what the company does, its primary clientele, how big the organisation is and in some cases who is in charge.

Think about your strengths and weaknesses

During your interview you should expect to be asked about your strengths and weaknesses, the reason the interviewer does this is to get a better understanding of you and to figure out what kind of help they could give you to help you progress during your role.

The good news is that your course with us will have earned you a qualification and given you the skills to put you ahead of the competition. But think about your strengths and weaknesses will mean you can answer this popular interview question.

Prepare answers to popular questions

As well as the strengths and weaknesses question, here are a few great responses to some more popular questions. A lot of these skill areas will have been covered in your training course with us.
