Looking back at 2023

Throughout the year, we’ve seen a high number of learners complete one of our many pre-employment training courses, helping them to upskill and get back into work. Our Pre-Employment training courses range from Contact Centre, Customer Service, Warehousing, Construction and more.

Jessica Pasquini, Contact Centre

Jessica completed our Contact Centre course to learn new skills, gain accredited qualifications and help boost her overall employability.

Upon completing the course, Jessica gained qualifications in Customer Service, Team Leading and Cybersecurity. This has opened the door to full-time employment opportunities in her desired job role.

“I now feel more competent in many areas. We covered lots of different ideas and concepts behind contact centre operations, team leading and cybersecurity.”

Jonathon Ince, LGV Driver Routeway

Jonathon completed our LGV driver routeway as he wanted to switch careers after previously working as a plasterer. He wanted to pursue new opportunities as a professional driver, focusing on large and heavy goods vehicles.

Upon completing the course, Jonathon gained his licence to drive an LGV alongside gaining full-time employment. He now works for a company which helps in the repairing of roads.

“The course really helped me getting into the driving of HGVs, as I didn’t know too much about them before. I’m now more confident and I successfully gained employment shortly after passing my test.”

Daniel Brookes, Contact Centre

Prior to completing our course, Daniel as had experienced some barriers when finding employment due to living with a tracheostomy tube. However, he said that he now feels an increased amount of confidence in himself, his skills and his abilities after completing the course.

Daniel also successfully found full-time employment with a well-established national retailer after completing the course, and is still pursuing further qualifications.

“I thought having a tracheostomy was a barrier in finding work, but this course made me realise I can do anything I want, regardless of what disability I may or may not have.”

Bradley Hill, Customer Service

Bradley completed our course after struggling to find a role in customer service due to lack of experience in this field. Once on the course, Bradley gained new skills, confidence and unlocked a new side of himself.

Upon completing the course, Bradley found full-time work in the customer service industry.

“I’m really happy I took the time to take the customer service course, as I presented myself better than I ever knew how to and in turn, I landed myself a new job role. I’m one happy man!”

Amita Parmar, Facilities

Amita completed our course after previously having job roles in customer service, but wanted to upskill. This course helped Amita as it introduced her to new skills which she could add to her existing experience.

Upon completing the course, Amita told us that she feels more prepared and confident to work in the customer service industry, and has since gained full time employment in her desired sector as a financial health and support advisor.

“The delivery of the course was excellent, Dee was very calm and made everything simple to understand. I now have a new role, which is as a financial health and support advisor.”
